AUSTRALIAN BREASTFEEDING ASSOCIATION MORNING TEA FOR MOTHERS AND CHILDREN

The Albany Creek-Bracken Ridge Australian Breastfeeding Association group offers information and mother-to mother support to assist in our parenting roles at gatherings held in our area, throughout the year. You are invited to join the Albany Creek-Bracken Ridge Australian Breastfeeding Association group at Womenspace and meet new friends, chat with mothers who have ‘been there’ and connect with trained breastfeeding volunteers.

Common myths about breastfeeding can affect the breastfeeding relationship between a mother and her baby. Hear some truths to dispel these wrong ideas.

These meetings are informal and encourage discussion from mothers about parenting, breastfeeding and the sharing of experiences. Breastfeeding counsellors are also usually available for any concerns you may have. Tea and coffee is provided, but please bring a plate to share for morning tea, if able. All women and children are welcome.

USHERING IN THE DIVINE FEMININE – The Golden Age is Here

In this informative and experiential Spirit of Woman workshop we explore how the Divine Feminine, biologically enscripted into every cell of female bodies, not only directs physical functioning, but, as the underlying driver of our thoughts, values, attitudes and ways of being, determines the quality of our relationship with self, significant others, community and the greater world. Moreover, by embracing Divine Feminine principles, we can return to the heart and peaceful reunion with Gaia our Mother.

In this workshop, we will meet Gaia’s beautiful healing gifts, Spirit of Woman Australian Wild Flower Essences, developed in south-east Queensland and now globally assisting women from all walks of life to walk their talk and access their power base from the depths of being.

Working at the cutting-edge of Mind-Body Medicine for 35 years as a lecturer, practitioner and author, Annie Meredith has long celebrated the Divine Feminine in her extensive life’s work.

Annie’s first book The Essence of Woman, assists women to get in touch with their ancient feminine lineage, by understanding and accessing the inherent strength and power inscipted into their biological design.

Her second book, The Spirit of Woman, describes the Spirit of Woman Flower Essence range she developed to provide practical, emotional & spiritual tools for women to use in their everyday lives to enhance their journey to consciousness and self-empowerment.

Annie’s legendary workshops have informed, thrilled and transformed women over the decades encouraging them to tap into the core of being and access their inner strength.

JULY SOUL & SPIRIT

BE ANYTHING YOU WANT TO BE

with Grandmother Rayleen Burns and Grandmother Wendy Williamson

Grandmother’s of ‘Australia’s Counsel of Thirteen Grandmothers’, invite women to the ‘Soul & Spirit’ conversation, asking what are we if the I and the You come together? “We are separate yet together, but nothing unless true to oneself and one’s journey. You and I together can create and be part of manifesting greatness with and in all we do and all we believe in the name of love and peace,” Grandmother Wendy.

Australia’s Counsel of Thirteen Grandmothers are the ‘Keepers of Wisdom’, representing and embracing the diversity of cultures within Australia, willingly sharing their knowledge and wisdom with all. “Our vision is to create pathways that preserve, honour and respect the many cultures, languages, medicines, ceremonies and traditions, which will further enhance the education of our children for the generations to come.” The entire Counsel meet at Womenspace later this year.

Respected elder and Grandmother, Wendy Williamson describes her passion: “As we teach about our own life, bringing the old ways into the new, so we teach others about life and culture and themselves. To help the world be a better place for future generations.”

Grandmother Rayleen Burns continues her work, though retired, to address social and emotional wellbeing, specialising in the welfare and health of communities throughout Australia. Rayleen’s work has taken her to obscure and remote pockets of the world, including many indigenous, ‘Healing Our Spirit Worldwide’ gatherings. Described as a quiet achiever, Grandmother Rayleen advises to, “Trust in spirit to allow you to be in the right place at the right time”.

“Women are the power. You give women the right space and they will blossom. Find the element that connects within you,” Grandmother Wendy.

Soul & Spirit is a regular group where women discuss spirituality on the third Tuesday of the month, at Womenspace.  Each gathering we choose a different topic and women can participate in the conversation, sharing their experiences, asking questions and learning from others.

All Womenspace events are designed for women, unless otherwise notified.
