Whilst everyone has been talking about 2012 as a time when we can expect changes on Earth, that align with the Mayan Prophecy, there have been many labels given to this important and auspicious time, often to the detriment of the process, that offer little comfort rather than true guidance as to what 2012 is essentially all about.
From labels such as “Doomsday” and “End of Days” to movies like “2012” that has recently appeared on our giant screens to project yet another warning about what seems to be a fate darker than anyone could possibly imagine on earth, it seems all humanity can do at this point is hold their breath and hope for the best! What a prospect and what an absolute waste of precious time this is…so if you have been holding your breath up to now listening to all this media hype, please, now is a time to breathe…in then… breath out again…and release!
Firstly and most importantly I wish to share that I was never an advocate for media hype. As a devoted student of L.I.F.E, (Loving Infinite Flowing Energy) I always preferred to investigate subjects deeply and discover things for myself after delving into the ‘heart’ of the matter. And with a subject as important as this, one should wonder how and why people would just accept superficial information and consider it a possibility. As a researcher writer and educator I find true enjoyment in helping de-clutter people’s mind and uplift their hearts to a place where Vision can offer a true and better prospect about subjects such as these ones. Although a Prophecy as Ancient as the Mayan needs no introduction (since it was left as a guiding post, and was not just a prediction to entertain the minds of humankind, nor was it left to become a tool for manipulation.) I would like to offer myself as a vehicle for insight in the subject, so that it may help those who have eyes to see and ears to hear step into such space and re evaluate for themselves that which is Truth.
Why is 2012 such an important time in the Mayan Calendar?
In simple words according to the Maya, 2012 marks a completion of 5,125 year grand cycle which in turn is divided into 13 smaller 400 year cycles. Each of these cycles represents an era of evolution of humankind. When this larger cycle concludes on the 21st December 2012 we are going to enter a New Era or Beginning.
To understand this better one would have to study the Law of Time and discover that time is not linear (as it has been given to us by the Gregorian Calendar), rather natural time is cyclical. Like the moon cycles 13 times around Earth during a 365 day period, so does our galaxy spin around a greater Central Sun which the Maya call Hunab Ku. Because time is cyclical certain evolutionary phases will repeat themselves. To explain it more easily, nature follows the order of natural time, spring follows winter, summer follows spring, and autumn follows summer. This is a cycle of time. In spring flowers bloom, in summer the fruits ripen in autumn leaves fall in winter everything is at rest. Like this smaller cycle there are greater cosmic cycles that influence our evolution and this includes consciousness. We are arriving at the culmination of a wondrous cycle that involves the evolution of our Consciousness. As in summer fruits ripen, so Consciousness of humankind on Earth has arrived at a time of ripening.
Because of this ripening we are now required to create greater changes on Earth that reflect this Higher Octave of Consciousness. Therefore the Earth changes that we are experiencing at the moment are the movement of Consciousness helping humankind to realign and clear that which no longer holds that frequency. This time marks a great opportunity for humankind. It is a time when we can learn first through taking responsibility for our personal healing and then as a collective in order to take this Quantum Leap towards a NEW Era that will see our Planet and its inhabitants create a future not based on ignorance and carelessness but on Consciousness and Compassion.
When we plant a seed, we must make sure it is not rotten, else it cannot sprout nor give us good fruits. The Mayan Prophecy calls us to this awareness, that unless we are going to awaken understanding that we are one with nature and should respect it because it is our LIFE, and unless we align with the natural cycles of time, by stepping out of artificial time created to manipulate humans to believe time is money and linear, and step into the synchronic order of natural time, (time is ART) We would ultimately only be like a rotten seed and therefore we would not encourage future generations to flower .
This is our only and true responsibility, it is also the true calling of the Prophecy which has been echoing from the depth of our Hearts that has been longing for a more serene existence on this Earth and the opportunity to make a difference for future generations to come.
